This is a great opportunity to donate of books for our Multidimensional Educational Technical & Research Society. Our readers or viewers are always looking for new books to fill the shelves of the library in both buildings. A sticker will be placed on the inside cover of the book with the information of the person who donated it. Please fill out this form when you are submitting to the Multidimensional Educational Technical & Research Society

Multidimensional Educational Technical & Research Society Library is a group of volunteers dedicated to enhancing library services. Proceeds from used book sales each year contribute to library programs, collections, and services. Our book sales rely on your generous donations. Donations are accepted at the Multidimensional Educational Technical & Research Society library. If you have a large amount, please call the library to discuss your donation.  At the members request, library staff review donated materials to select suitable items for the Library’s collection.

We gladly accept:

Ø  Books and other items in good condition, clean, dry, mold-free (especially higher education ’s books, CDs, and DVDs, as well as large print books)

Ø  Commercially recorded items: music on CDs, audio books on CDs, movies on DVD, and Blue-ray

Ø  Always obtain approval to donate a book or other materials before mailing it to the Multidimensional Educational Technical & Research Society

Ø  Send all requests and correspondence to the Acquisitions Office of the Multidimensional Educational Technical & Research Society

Ø  Coordinate your donations with your state librarian.

Ø  Books need not be indexed or hardbound for the Library to accept them.

Ø  Monetary donations toward book purchases are welcome. Be certain to notify the Acquisitions Office directly of all such contributions.

Ø  Book donations must contain at least 50 pages or more of acceptable subject matter to receive book credit.

 Sorry, we can’t take:

Ø  Items which are unhealthy to handle or dirty, moldy, smelly, burnt, chewed, or damp.

Ø  books with missing covers

Ø  textbooks

Ø  encyclopedias

Ø  Reader’s Digest condensed books, except large print editions.

Please do not send items in the following subject areas:

Poetry, literature, cookbooks, illustrated historical calendars, state or chapter yearbooks/directories, historical fiction, children’s books.

Types of donations theMultidimensional Educational Technical & Research Society needs

Books, maps, microforms, manuscripts, charts and periodicals mostly all subjects of acience subject areas are acceptable for donation.

Receipts

Multidimensional Educational Technical & Research Society, and you may be able to deduct the value of your donation on your income taxes if you itemize deductions. The library does not assign a value to the books you donate. You will need to determine the value of your donation yourself. The following form is a record of your donation.
